About the Papillion-La Vista Trap Team (PLVTT)

Since 2003, the Papillion-La Vista Trap Team (PLVTT) has welcomed and supported junior and senior high school student-athletes of all backgrounds from the Papillion-La Vista School District. Our team fosters a culture of inclusion, offering students the opportunity to compete in trapshooting at the local, state, and national levels, regardless of their gender, race, or socioeconomic status.

Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and disciplined environment where every student-athlete has the chance to grow. We focus on helping athletes develop their marksmanship skills, build confidence, and grow into responsible, respectful citizens. Through trapshooting, we encourage the formation of lifelong relationships with teammates, coaches, and competitors, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

While the Papillion-La Vista School District recognizes trapshooting as an extracurricular club, it does not provide financial or personnel support. Sponsorships and donations are essential to keeping the sport accessible, making sure that every student-athlete has the opportunity to participate regardless of financial means.
